General description

This high purity fluorescent dye (λex494 nm, λem 518 nm) is supplied as a single isomer, which ensures production of labeled products of defined chemical structure, as well as greatly simplifying purification and characterization. FAM should be introduced as the last step in the synthesis to avoid formation of side-products, or be protected by tritylation prior to acylation or hydrazine treatment [1].
