General description
Choice of two models:
Pressure filter reactor - rated 35 psig @ 100°C, Ace Threds allow use of vacuum or pressure to drain liquid from reactor, 2 x #15 and 1 x #7 AceThreds on 60 mm head, 3 x #15 and 1 x #7 Ace Threds on 100 mm head
Jacketed pressure filter reactor - as above with jacket for heating or cooling reaction
Applications:
- Oxidation/reduction reactions where the particulate can be drawn down to a filter cake
- Nanotechnology where the material must be contained and the filtrate is the actual product or nano-particle needed
- Simple Bioreactor as gases can be introduced through pressure head via a pressure or NPT fittings and tubing
- Paints/pigments other viscous solutions
Both systems include:
- Heavy-wall glass reactor body and head, CAPFE O-ring and SS quick-release clamp
- Ace Thred PTFE bottom filter adapter, o-ring, and filter support, PTFE thread adapter, o-ring and PTFE bottom valve. Dead space below frit is 4.5-5 mL liquid w/ water viscosity +/- 0.5 mL
- Non-flaking stir shaft bearing
- Glass stir shaft with PTFE agitator assembly
- Addition funnel
- West condenser
- Support package including holed plate, stand, chain clamp, and holder
- PTFE stoppers
- Chuck adapter for IKA stirrer motor
