General description
On-Column injection is generally performed to avoid vaporization of samples. This method involves injecting the cold sample directly onto the column. Using retention gaps allows autosamplers to use on-column sample injection method. In this system, a 32-gauge needle is inserted in a cool narrow bore injection valve and then into capillary column.
Use the 701RNFS syringes with liquid samples. A PTFE plunger tip makes the 1701RNFS syringes gas tight. Syringes come with a replaceable fused silica needle. Capacity 10 μL, 0.17 mm OD, 10 cm length, point style #3. Use with 0.20 mm I.D. or larger columns.
