General description

Ready-to-use coated packing for those wanting to pack their own columns.
The choice of coating material is based on the stationary phase of the GC.[1] THEED (tetrahydroxyethylenediamine) is generally suitable to reduce tailing and modify selectivity on inert adsorbent medium such as Carbopack C.[2]

Application

Gas chromatographic column packed with Carbopack C modified with THEED was used for the determination of diethylene glycol in wine as it is able to elute glycols as untailed peaks.[3]
