Cyhalofop-butyl is a member of the aryloxyphenoxypropionate (AOPP) group of selective herbicides, widely used in agriculture for the post-emergence control of annual grasses including, Echinochloa crusgalli, Leptochloa chinensis, and Alopecurus aequalis in the rice paddy.
