General description

Fenoxaprop-P-ethyl, a member of the aryloxy phenoxy-propionate class, is reported to be a grass specific-herbicide with contact and systemic action. Its mode of action involves the inhibition of fatty acid biosynthesis. This herbicide is used for the post-emergence control of perennial and annual grass weeds in a variety of crops such as potatoes, beans, barley, wheat and cotton.[1]
This reference material (RM) is produced and certified in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025. This RM is traceable to primary material from an NMI, e.g. NIST or NMIJ.
