General description

“Nalgene” Oak Ridge high-speed polypropylene copolymer (PPCO) centrifuge tubes demonstrate superior chemical compatibility with a broader range of laboratory reagents compared to regular polycarbonate centrifuge tubes.

Features and Benefits

  • Offers superior chemical resistance compared to polycarbonate tubes.
  • Capable of being repeatedly autoclaved, resulting in a longer lifespan than polycarbonate tubes subjected to repeated autoclaving.
  • When paired with a Nalgene sealing cap, the 30mL tubes can handle centrifugal forces up to 50,000 x g.
  • Includes polypropylene linerless closures, which are easy to clean and provide leakproof protection under normal conditions up to 10,000 x g.
  • Autoclavable and leakproof when used with the provided Nalgene closure.

Other Notes

Tubes must be filled to a minimum of 80% capacity to ensure proper performance.
