General description

Rat BAFF (for B cell activating factor belonging to the TNF family) is a newly discovered novel ligand of the TNF family. BAFF plays an important role as co-stimulator of B cell proliferation and function. Recombinant human BAFF is a soluble protein containing 184 amino acid residues (MW 20.7 kDa).

Sterile filtered and lyophilized

Reconstitution

Centrifuge the vial prior to opening. Reconstitute in sterile H?O to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers or stored at 4°C for 1 week or –20°C for future use.
