Rat gAcrp30 (amp-1) is a 16.6 kDa protein that corresponds to the C-terminal globular domain of adiponectin (amp-1). gAcrp30/Adipolean is expressed and secreted exclusively by adipose tissue. This protein possesses unique pharmacological properties for regulation of body weight and lipid metabolism. It is a key component in controlling energy homeostasis. Recently, gAcrp30/Adipolean has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of myelomonocytic progenitors. The Recombinant rat gAcrp30/Adipolean is a 16.6 kDa protein consisting of 145 amino acid residues.
Physical form
Sterile filtered and Lyophilized without additives.
Reconstitution
Centrifuge the vial prior to opening. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Reconstitute in water to a concentration of <0.3 mg/mL. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at 4°C for 1 week or –20°C for future use.
This study aimed to elucidate the mechanism by which hypertrophic adipocytes regulate insulin signaling in cardiac myocytes. Palmitate was used to induce hypertrophic 3T3-L1 adipocytes. Exosomes were purified from normal control or hypertrophic 3T3-L1 adipocyte-associated conditioned medium. Exosome-exposed neonatal rat
