General description

Endothelial-Monocyte Activating Polypeptide-II (EMAP-II) is a tumor derived cytokine that is an anti-angiogenic factor in tumor vascular development, and strongly inhibits tumor growth. Recombinant human EMAP-II is an 18.3 kDa protein containing 166 amino acid residues.

Physical form

Lyophilized from a concentrated (1 mg/ml) solution in water containing 20 mM sodium Phosphate buffer pH 7.5 and 130 mM sodium chloride.

Reconstitution

Centrifuge the vial prior to opening. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Reconstitute in water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers
