Biochem/physiol Actions

SMANT is a Hedgehog pathway antagonist, a Smoothened antagonist that behaves similarly against normal cancer smoothened and the M2 mutant. In a study comparing activities among the currently known smoothened/Hedgehog antagonists, SMANT behaves differently, binding to another Smo site different to that bound by other compounds.
