Anti-LAT3 Antibody detects endogenous levels of total LAT3 protein.
LAT3/SLC43A1 (solute carrier family 43 member 1), a Na+-independent neutral L-amino acid transporter, is mapped to human chromosome 11q12.1. It is expressed in liver, skeletal muscle and pancreas.
Immunogen
The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human LAT3.
Immunogen Range: 231-280
Biochem/physiol Actions
LAT3/SLC43A1 (solute carrier family 43 member 1) is essential for the growth and activities of podocytes. In prostate cancer cell lines, silencing the expression of LAT3 stops the initiation of mTORC1 (mammalian target of rapamycin complex 1) pathway activation, cell growth and cell cycle both in vitro and in vivo.
