Anti-TRIM59 Antibody detects endogenous levels of total TRIM59 protein.
TRIM59 (tripartite-59) belongs to the tripartite motif (TRIM) family of proteins. It has a RING domain, one or two B-box motifs and a coiled-coil region. It is located on human chromosome 3q25.
Immunogen
The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human TRIM59.
Immunogen Range: 191-240
Biochem/physiol Actions
Suppression of tripartite-59 (TRIM59) blocks the multiplication and migration of cervical cancer cells. In prostate cancer models, TRIM59 serves as a proto-oncogene that affects Ras and RB signal pathways. It also induces the multiplication and migration of non-small cell lung cancer cells.
