Gene Information

human ... GPR35(2859)

General description

Anti-GPR35 Antibody detects endogenous levels of total GPR35 protein.

GPR35 (G protein-coupled receptor 35) is a lysophosphatidic acid receptor. It is highly expressed in the immune and gastrointestinal systems, dorsal root ganglia, cerebellum and brain. It is mapped to human chromosome 2q37.3 .

Immunogen

The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human GPR35.

Immunogen Range: 51-100

Biochem/physiol Actions

GPR35 (G protein-coupled receptor 35) is involved in heart failure and pain perception. It also participates in the formation of gastric cancer. It serves as a receptor for the kynurenine pathway intermediate kynurenic acid. It can also acts as an important lysophosphatidic acid receptor.
