Rho family GTPase 1 (RND1) regulates actin cytoskeleton in several cell types. It is implicated in the Sema3E/plexin-D1-induced inhibition of axon outgrowth in cortical neurons. RND1 plays an important role in plexin signaling. It modulates the dynamics of cell growth and survival. Dysregulation of RND1 is associated with tumorigenesis.
