Golgi internal membrane protein 4 (GOLIM4) is a golgi type II transmembrane phosphoprotein. In human chromosome, the gene GOLIM4 is located on 3q26.2.
Immunogen
The immunogen for anti-GOLIM4 antibody: synthetic peptide derected towards the C terminal of human GOLIM4
Biochem/physiol Actions
Golim4 plays a role in endosome to Golgi protein trafficking; mediates protein transport along the late endosome-bypass pathway from the early endosome to the Golgi. Golim4 plays a major role in maintaining manganese homeostasis. The expression level of Golim4 is less in cancer cells. GOLIM4 is a potential oncogene, regulates cell cycle and apoptosis in neck and cancer cells.
Sequence
Synthetic peptide located within the following region: DPGNRQEFHEPGHQEGDPEAEADRAAAQDINPADDPNNQGEDEFEEAEQV
Physical form
Purified antibody supplied in 1x PBS buffer with 0.09% (w/v) sodium azide and 2% sucrose.

Beta-site APP cleaving enzyme 1 (BACE1) is a transmembrane aspartyl protease with a lumenal active site that sheds the ectodomains of membrane proteins through juxtamembrane proteolysis. BACE1 has been studied principally for its role in Alzheimer's disease as the beta-secretase
