DGKI (139-174) This antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide selected from the N-terminal region of human DGKI.
Application
Anti-DGKI (N-term) antibody produced in rabbit is suitable for immunohistochemistry at a dilution of 1:50-1:100 and indirect ELISA at a dilution of 1:1000.
Biochem/physiol Actions
DGKI (Diacylglycerol kinase iota) is mainly involved in the maintenance of intracellular concentration of diacylglycerol by phosphorylating other lipids in addition to DAG. DGKI has been predicted to be a potential gene for tumor suppression in colorectal cancers and mutation in DGKI has been linked to the melanoma.
Physical form
Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide.
Biochimica et biophysica acta, 1790(6), 416-424 (2009-04-15)
The mammalian diacylglycerol kinases (DGK) are a group of enzymes having important roles in regulating many biological processes. Both the product and the substrate of these enzymes, i.e. diacylglycerol and phosphatidic acid, are important lipid signalling molecules. Each DGK isoform
