Immunogen

synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 197-215 of the β2 subunit of rat voltage-gated sodium channel (VGSC). The epitope is highly conserved in human VGSC β2 subunit. Homology with human is 17 of 19 amino acid residues identical.

Lyophilized from phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 1% bovine serum albumin, and 0.05% sodium azide.
