Unc93b (unc-93 homolog B1) is a multiple membrane-spanning protein, that is located in the endoplasmic reticulum. It is mainly present in the heart and also highly expressed in dendritic cells and macrophages. It is located on chromosome 11q13.
Immunogen
a 19 amino acid peptide from near the amino-terminus of human Unc93b.
Biochem/physiol Actions
Unc93b (unc-93 homolog B1) plays an important role in controlling the activation of TLRs (toll-like receptors). It also participates in the localization of TLR3 (toll-like receptor 3) to the surface of cell.
Linkage
The action of this antibody can be blocked using blocking peptide SBP4553.
Physical form
Solution in phosphate buffered saline containing 0.02% sodium azide
