General description

D-Psicose protects and preserves pancreatic β-islets through the maintenance of hyperglycemia and by the prevention of fat accumulation in Otsuka Long-Evans Tokushima Fatty rats. [1]

Application

D-Psicose has been used in a study to assess the bioconversion of D-fructose to D-allose. It has also been used in a study that investigated the characteristics and antioxidant activity of maillard reaction products. [2]

    4 out of 5 stars.

    Good sample for HPLC

Came in a convenient vial for easy dilution. Eluted cleanly off our HPLC column with no detectable contaminants. 4 stars because it's pretty expensive despite becoming more widely available and easily produced.
