Application

Progesterone 3-(O-carboxymethyl) oxime can be used in microtitre plate enzyme immunoassays (EIAs) for progesterone.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Progesterone 3-(O-carboxymethyl) oxime can be used for studying the steroid specificity of progestin (Pi) binding. The result shows that this product has a reasonable degree of specificity for binding to Pi receptor in the thymus.

Preparation Note

Progesterone 3-(O-carboxymethyl) oxime dissolves in chloroform at 50 mg/ml to yield a clear, colorless to faint yellow solution.
