peptide (C)KRRAIRLANSTAS, corresponding to residues 538-550 of the human Kv4.1.The epitope is localized intracellularly in C-terminal.
Target description
The Kv4 channels are characterized by activation at subthreshold membrane potentials, inactivate rapidly and recover from inactivation quickly compared with other voltage-dependent K+ channels. This type of current is known as transient A-type K+ currents. For example, depolarization-activated K+ currents in rat neostriatal cholinergic interneurons are predominantly of the A-type and attributable to coexpression of Kv4.1 and Kv4.2 subunits.
Physical form
Lyophilized from phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 1% BSA and 0.025% sodium azide.
Reconstitution
Reconstitute the lyophilized vial with 50 μL or 200 μL deionized water, depending on package size. Further dilutions should be made using a carrier protein such as BSA (1-3%).
