Gene Information

General description

Netrin-4 (NTN4) is also called β−netrin and is expressed in the cortex. It is a 628 amino-acid protein.

Specificity

This antibody shows no cross-reactivity with rmNetrin-1, rhNetrin-1, rhNetrin-2, or rmNetrin-G1a.

Immunogen

purified, NS0-derived, recombinant human Netrin-4.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Netrin-4 (NTN4) associates with unc-5 homolog B (Unc5B). It has crucial roles in angiogenesis and axon branching.

Physical form

Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in phosphate buffered saline with 5% trehalose.

Axon branching is remodeled by sensory-evoked and spontaneous neuronal activity. However, the underlying molecular mechanism is largely unknown. Here, we demonstrate that the netrin family member netrin-4 (NTN4) contributes to activity-dependent thalamocortical (TC) axon branching. In the postnatal developmental stages
