General description

Netrin-1 (NTN1) is a secreted protein.[1]

Specificity

This antibody shows 100% cross-reactivity with rchNetrin-1 and no cross-reactivity with rhNetrin-2, rhNetrin-4, rmNetrin-4, or rmNetrin-G1a.

Immunogen

purified, NS0-derived, recombinant mouse Netrin-1.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Netrin-1 (NTN1) acts as a cardioprotectant. It can stimulate neovascularization of the retina in retinopathy. NTN1 has roles in angiogenesis and thymocyte adhesion.[1]

Physical form

Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in phosphate buffered saline containing carbohydrates.

Netrin-1, a known axon guidance molecule, being a secreted laminin-related molecule, has been suggested to be involved in multiple physiological and pathological conditions, such as organogenesis, angiogenesis, tumorigenesis, and inflammation-mediated tissue injury. However, its function in thymocyte development is still

We have shown that netrin-1 induces potent cardioprotection via extracellular signal-regulated kinases 1 and 2 (ERK1/2)-dependent endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS)/NO activation. The present study investigated cardioprotective effects of small netrin-1-derived peptides. We synthesized three laminin (Lam) V peptides and

Netrin-1 has been reported to promote retinal neovascularization in oxygen-induced retinopathy (OIR). However, netrin-1 receptors, which may mediate netrin-1 action during retinal neovascularization, have not been characterized. In this study, we investigated netrin-1 receptor subtype expression and associated changes in
