General description

Neuropilin-2 (NRP-2) is expressed in the neurons of the developing nervous system in rats.

Specificity

Shows no cross-reactivity with human neuropilin-1.

Immunogen

purified, NS0-derived, recombinant rat neuropilin-2 extracellular domain.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Neuropilin-2 (NRP-2) is involved in assembly of Schwann cells into aggregates, which have a role in the regeneration of neurons.

Physical form

Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in phosphate buffered saline.
