Gene Information

human ... IL2RA(3559)

Specificity

The antibody will neutralize human cell surface IL-2 receptor α mediated-bioactivity. The antibody shows ≤15% cross-reactivity with recombinant human IL-2 Rγ, ≤ 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human IL-6 sR, and ≤1% cross-reactivity with recombinant human IL-1 sRII and IL-2 sRβ.

Immunogen

recombinant human IL-2 soluble receptor α, expressed in Sf 21 insect cells.

Application

Anti-Interleukin-2 Soluble Receptor α antibody may be used in immunoblotting at a working concentration of 0.1-0.2 μg/ml. For flow cytometry, the recommended concentration is 2-3 μg/106 cells. The antibody is suitable for IL-2 sR α neutralization assays.

Physical form

Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in phosphate buffered saline with 5% trehalose.
