Interleukin 1 (IL-1) is a cytokine responsible for the regulation of inflammation and immune responses. Interleukin-1 Receptor Type I is a 80kD protein found on many cells like monocytes, NK cells, T cells, B cells, fibroblasts, dendritic cells, endothelial cells, vascular endothelial cells, neural cells, basophils, neutrophils and eosinophils. It has a pivotal role in signal transduction, where IL-1 Receptor Type I binds with interleukin-1 and the coreceptor IL1RAP to form the high affinity interleukin-1 receptor complex that facilitates IL-1 dependent activation of NF-κ-B, MAPK and other pathways. Monoclonal anti-Interleukin-1 Soluble Receptor Type I antibody can be used in western blotting. Mouse anti-Interleukin-1 Soluble Receptor Type I antibody reacts specifically with human IL-1 Receptor I. The product has shown no cross-reactivity with recombinant human IL-1 ra, recombinant human IL-1 RII, recombinant human IL-1 RacP (IL-1 R3), recombinant human IL-1 R5, recombinant human IL- 1 R6 or recombinant mouse IL-1 RI.
