IL-12 also known as Natural Killer Cell Stimulatory Factor (NKSF) is a 75kD protein that belongs to type I cytokine receptor family and is produced mainly by monocytes and NK cells. IL-12 signals with the help of IL-12 receptor made up of two subunits designated β1 and β2. Interleukin-12 receptor subunit β-1 binds interleukin-12 with low affinity and facilitates in IL12 transduction. Anti-interleukin-12 receptor β1 antibody can be used in ELISA (0.5-1.0 μg/mL) using recombinant human IL-12 Rβ1. Goat anti-interleukin-12 receptor β1 antibody has shown 5% (approx.) cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse IL-12 Rβ1.
Specificity
The antibody shows 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse IL-12 Rβ1.
Immunogen
recombinant human IL-12 Rβ1 extracellular domain, expressed in NSO cells
Application
Anti-interleukin-12 receptor β1 antibody can be used in immunoblotting for localization and detection of recombinant human IL-12 Rβ1.
Physical form
Lyophilized from 0.2 μm filtered solution of phosphate buffered saline

We have identified a cDNA from a human phytohemagglutinin-activated lymphoblast library encoding a protein that binds 125I-labeled human interleukin 12 (125I-huIL-12) with a Kd of about 5 nM when expressed in COS-7 cells. When coexpressed in COS-7 cells with the

Vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP) has been regarded as deactivator for macrophages. However, the depressive effect of VIP on tumor-associated macrophages (TAM) has not been recognized. In the present study, we investigated the effect of VIP on gastric cancer via TAM

IL-23 is a heterodimeric cytokine composed of the IL-12p40 "soluble receptor" subunit and a novel cytokine-like subunit related to IL-12p35, termed p19. Human and mouse IL-23 exhibit some activities similar to IL-12, but differ in their capacities to stimulate particular
