General description

KIAA1462 is a 145kDa uncharacterized protein with 1359 amino acids and contains a proline-rich region. The gene encoding this protein is located on chromosome 10p11.23.

Application

Uncharacterized protein KIAA1462 is one of the components of cell-cell junctions in endothelial cells. This protein has been linked to coronary artery disease.
