Homeobox A10 (HOXA10) belongs to the HOX transcription factor family. HOX transcription factors are classified as four clusters, such as cluster A, B, C and D. HOXA10 is localized in A cluster on chromosome 7.
Application
Anti-HOXA10 (C-terminal) antibody produced in rabbit has been used in immunoblotting.
Biochem/physiol Actions
Homeobox A10 (HOXA10) is highly essential for the growth of erythroid and megakaryocytic lineages. The expression of HOXA10 was found to be altered in endometriosis. It also participates in gene expression, morphogenesis and differentiation. HOXA10 plays a key role in gastric cancer, oral squamous cell carcinoma, prostate carcinoma, ovarian clear cell adenocarcinoma, endometrial adenocarcinoma.
Physical form
Solution in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 15 mM sodium azide.
