General description
Corning® Erlenmeyer flask, 5L is a wide-mouth graduated disposable flask, made from polycarbonate and non-cytotoxic material, that is spacious and is intended to help in scale-up suspension culture. It features exceptional optical clarity and mechanical strength. The Erlenmeyer flasks can be autoclaved once at 121°C and 15 psi for 20 minutes, but repeated autoclaving is not recommended as it can weaken the flask. Additionally, the large vent cap effectively isolates the container from the external environment, thereby facilitating gas exchange and minimizing the risk of spillage.
Application
Corning® Erlenmeyer flask, 5 L has been used as shaking and storage for culture applications.
