Human lymphoblastoid, Xeroderma pigmentosum heterozygote, EBV-transformed
Cell Line Description
Established by EBV transformation of mononuclear cells from a peripheral blood sample from a 37 year old female patient. The patient was shown to be heterozygote for Xeroderma pigmentosum complementation group G, a rare, autosomal recessive disease, and is the mother of two children with XP (cell line LB83, Sigma Catalogue number. 98062328 and LB82).
Maintain cultures between 3-9 x 100,000 cells/ml, dilute every 1-2 days to 3 x 100,000 cells/ml; 5% CO2, 37°C. Cells form free floating aggregates.
