Rat Sprague-Dawley, primary endometrial, SV40 large T antigen transformed
Cell Line Description
Derived from the endometrium tissue from the uterus of a 21-28 day-old Sprague-Dawley rat. Cells carry vimentin, connexin 43, collagen type III and proenkephalin markers. The transforming agent was SV40 large T antigen.
Split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) 1:3 i.e. seeding at 3x10,000 cells/cm2 using 0.25% trypsin/EDTA; 5% CO2; 37°C. Doubling time 48 hours.
