Human lymphoma

Cell Line Description

Derived from the pleural effusion of a patient with undifferentiated lymphoma. The cells are EBNA negative, express surface IgM Lambda and secrete pentameric IgM which does not bind to protein A. Complement and Fc receptors were not detected.

Culture Medium

RPMI 1640 + 2mM Glutamine + 20% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).

Subculture Routine

Maintain cultures between 100,000 to 1,000,000 cells/ml; 5% CO2; 37°C. A maximum cell density of 2-4x1,000,000 cells/ml is achieved.
