Mouse NS0/1 x Mouse BALB/c spleen
Cell Line Description
The antibody binds to activated rat lymphocytes. It labels all T and B cell blasts strongly, gives -ve to weak labelling of thoracic duct lymphocytes and thymocytes. The antibody labels vascular endothelium, kidney tubules and brain capillaries. Endothelium of large vessels do not react.
Immunogen
Rat T blasts from a mixed lymphocyte reaction between purified CD4+ T cells and irradiated spleen cells
Culture Medium
RPMI 1640 + 2mM glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS)
Subculture Routine
Seed at 5x10,000 viable cells/ml. Subculture when cells reach 5x100,000-1x1,000,000 cells/ml (usually after 3-4 days); 5% CO2; 37°C.
