From P815 after serial cycles of transfection. This HTR variant shows high efficiency of transfection (0.00001) for neomycin-resistance and TK gene or other exogenous DNA. Possible to select TK- cells with BUdR for resubmission to transfection with TK gene.
Application
Genetic, transfection and tumourigenicity studies
Culture Medium
DMEM + 2mM Glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
Subculture Routine
Maintain cultures between 3-9x100,000 cells/ml; 8% CO2; 37°C.
