Mouse/human hybrid

Cell Line Description

The hybrid cell line II b has been established by transforming mouse NIH 3T3 (ECACC catalogue no. 93061524) with mitotic chromosomes from the human cell line MNNG-HOS (Sigma Catalogue number. 87070201). Various probes showed stable integration of chromosome 7 DNA (7q22-31.3 and 7q22-7 cen) being closely linked to the gene mutation causing cystic fibrosis
