Cell Line Description

The antibody recognises a monomorphic determinant on the L3T4 molecule (the murine equivalent of CD4).

Immunogen

Lyt-1+2- anti-I-Ak cytolytic T lymphocytes

Culture Medium

DMEM + 2mM glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS). Immediately post resuscitation of the cells use media containing 20% FBS, once the culture is established the level of FBS can then be reduced to 10% FBS.

Subculture Routine

Maintain cultures between 3-9x100,000 cells/ml; 5% CO2; 37°C.
