General description

C5338-10G′s update product number is GE17-0981-01
Cyanogen bromide-activated-Sepharose® 4 Fast Flow is a resin composed of cross-linked 4% agarose beads that has been pre-activated with cyanogen bromide. Proteins and other molecules containing primary amino groups are coupled directly to the preactivated gel. It allows for multi-point attachment of protein ligands which minimizes ligand leakage. The resin is available in a range of different bulk pack sizes and convenient pre-packed formats for easy scale-up and process development.

Application

Cyanogen bromide-activated-Sepharose is used in affinity chromatography and protein chromatography. Cyanogen bromide-activated-Sepharose has been used to discover insecticidal agents, to raise polyclonal antibodies against the yeast invertase glycosyls, and to study immunological processes of xenograft rejection.
