Gene Information

Biochem/physiol Actions

CINC-3, a member of the α (CXC) subfamily of chemokines, is a potent chemotactic factor for rat neutrophils in vivo and in vitro. Rat and murine CINC-3 exhibits approximately 88% homology.

Physical form

Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in 30% acetonitrile and 0.1% trifluoroacetic acid containing 1.25 mg bovine serum albumin.

Analysis Note

The biological activity is measured by its ability to induce myeloperoxidase release from cytochalasin B treated human neutrophils.
