General description

KCNK13 (THIK1) is a potassium channel that belongs to the K subfamily. It can be activated by arachidonic acid and blocked by halothane.
Rabbit Anti-KCNK13 antibody reacts with rat and human KCNK13.

Application

Rabbit Anti-KCNK13 antibody is suitable for IHC (4-8 ug/ml) and western blot (0.12 μg/ml) applications.

KCNK13 encodes one of the members of the superfamily of potassium channel proteins containing two pore-forming domains. The product of this gene is an open channel that can be stimulated by arachidonic acid.
