Autophagy related 4A, cysteine peptidase (ATG4A or APG4A) is a C-54 cysteine protease that also belongs to the family of autophagin proteins. ATG4A is involved in cellular autophagy and has been studied as a target for cancer therapy. Rabbit anti-ATG4A antibody binds to human ATG4A.
Immunogen
synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 100-114 of human ATG4A, conjugated to KLH. The corresponding sequence differs by 2 amino acids in mouse and rat.
Application
Rabbit anti-ATG4A antibody can be used for immunoprecipitation assays at 5-10μg using HEK-293T cell lysates.
Physical form
Solution in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline pH 7.4, containing 15 mM sodium azide.
