General description

Artemis is a novel protein that is involved in V(D)J recombination and DNA repair. Genetic mutations in artemis can cause radiosensitive severe combined immunodeficiency (RS-SCID) in humans.

Immunogen

synthetic peptide corresponding to the human artemis protein (amino acids 677-692).

Application

Rabbit anti-artemis can be used for western blot (1:250-1:1,000) assays.

Physical form

Solution of 1 mg/mL in phosphate buffered saline containing 0.02% sodium azide
