General description

Erythrosin extra bluish is a brown color powder, that is soluble in ethanol and water. Its pH ranges from 2.5 to 4. It is used in color filters, light emitting diodes, cosmetics, hair dyes etc.[1] It has several biological applications like detecting gene expression, treating age related macular degeneration, diabetes, obesity etc.[2]
