Human Umbilical Artery Endothelial Cells (HUAEC) establish a solid platform for drug discovery, and studies related to tissue regeneration and atherosclerosis. Endothelial cells play critical roles in vascular homeostasis and vessel wall tone. In addition, they participate in platelet aggregation and coagulation. HUAEC also influence lymphocyte activation and chmoattractant activity.
