General description

Sodium phosphotungstate tribasic hydrate is the hydrated trisodium salt of phosphotungstic acid.

Application

Sodium phosphotungstate tribasic hydrate was employed as stain in transmission electron microscopic (TEM) studies.[1] It may be used in the preparation of negative stains for use in microfluidic-dialysis conditioning module, which comprises the main unit of electron microscopy (EM) grids.[2]
