General description
This proficiency testing sample is produced in accordance with ISO/IEC 17043:2010. All information regarding the use of this material can be found in the reporting packet supplied for each sample.
Preparation Note
Description
1) This PT sample is packaged as a 20 mL concentrate.
2) The solvent for this sample is DI water.
3) The PT sample has not been preserved.
Sample Preparation PLEASE REFER TO YOUR INSTRUCTION PACKET FOR LATEST INSTRUCTIONS
1) To prepare solution partially fill a 1000-mL volumetric flask with reagent-grade water (near 20 degrees C).
2) Shake ampule well prior to opening.
3) Open ampule PECS-1073 (be careful to avoid cuts on glass) and transfer 10.0 mL of concentrate to the volumetric flask.
4) Fill the flask to volume with reagent-grade water and mix well.
5) The sample is now ready for immediate analysis.
6) This represents the sample for analysis.
7) Report rssults in mg/L.
