General description

Fura-2 LeakRes (AM) is a cell permeable fluorescent probe for Ca2+.[1] Compared with other probes, there is less compartmentalization and leakage; cells remain brightly fluorescent and responsive to changes in cytosolic free Ca2+ for hours.

Application

Fura 2 is one of the most widely used calcium indicators for ratiometric measurement and is highly suitable for digital imaging microscopy.
Fura-2 LeakRes (AM) has been used for imaging of intracellular Ca2+.[2]
