General description

Pyributicarb is a systemic, thiocarbamate herbicide, which is effectively used for the post-emergence control of annual grass weeds, perennial grasses, turf, etc. Its mode of action involves inhibition of elongation of roots and aerial parts in weeds.

Application

Pyributicarb may be used as an analytical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in agricultural products using gas chromatography technique.
