General description

1-Dodecanol is an n-alkano organic compound.[1]
Visit our Sensor Applications portal to learn more.

Application

It is may be used to investigate the thermal properties of caprylic acid using differential scanning calorimetry.[1] It may also be used as extraction solvent during determination of five kinds of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in water samples, using dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction based on solidification of floating organic droplet method (DLLME-SFO).[2]
